Travelling back in time is a dream many people have, yet most wouldn’t easily give up on contemporary comforts. Baan Janpen is one of those tropical homes that successfully join these two notions, creating a lovely traditional ambiance which doesn’t lack in modernity. The villa boasts Thai style paintings and unique furniture made from real teakwood. It sleeps 6 people across 3 bedrooms, however there is an additional room serving as an office that can be turned into a bedroom for an extra fee, so the villa can accommodate 8 people in total.
The vacation rental has a sizable garden with a private roofed swimming pool that offers pleasant protection during hot afternoons. There are several seated sections in the garden, including a table at the edge of the pool and a nearby hammock. The outdoor area is also home to a guest toilet and a private carport.
The open plan living and dining area is authentically Thai and enchanting in terms of décor. There is a big sofa and a flat-screen TV with surround system in the living room, next to a luxurious dining table set for 6 persons. Two of the bedrooms are on the left side and they share a bathroom between them that features a bathtub. The third bedroom that offers pool views is located to the right from the living room, and just in front of it there is a bathroom with a small bathtub. All bedrooms feature king size beds and TVs. Next to the second bathroom is the office that can be turned into another bedroom.
The villa features a separate kitchen with all appliances and utensils needed for seamless meal preparation. There is a large stove with oven, big refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and even a washing machine. The villa comes with a BBQ so you can enjoy great family days in the garden, grilling freshly caught seafood from the nearby market.
Pattaya’s East Side
Baan Janpen is located in East Pattaya, close to the Night Market. Sukhumwit Road and King Palace Mall are a quick 5-minute drive away, while it takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the city centre and infamous Walking Street. Charming and family-friendly Jomtien Beach that offers lovely restaurants and plentiful beach activities is about 10-15 minutes away.
